Diploma coursesWe offer a diploma in TV & Radio Journalism, Mass-Media Journalism and or TV&Film Media Production. These career-training programs take between 12/24/48/72 weeks / 3 to18 months in length to finish for individual part time atenda-nce and for those who are more serious carrier oriented people. The training program is 182 weeks (Thirty Six Months) in length for part time and or 130 weeks or (twenty four months) for those who will be doing full time studies. We recommend the longer version of more than 182 weeks or (Thirty Six Months) for and or 130 weeks or (twenty four months) for full time, so that the student may learn at a good pace and not in a rush. This course is designed for individuals consi-dering a major career in the Mass-media, video, film, radio and television industry and in or other closely related industries. In these 3 1/2 academic years, students will learn from the basic fundamental and theoretical ele-ments of how these systems work, which will include television, film, Radio, multimedia and graphic design productions to name a few. This is a comprehensive 3 1/2 year course in which students learn various things including using basic editing soft wares packages such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Apple Final Cut Studio. It will also include script development, storyboarding, basic camera operation, lighting, photography, sound recording are all major components of the course. The focus is the use of software for editing videos, creating graphic images and basic motion graphics for video presentations. In general, this course will also cover film and multimedia courses including, radio, television/film production, editing, radio journalism, photography, sound, lighting, print media, graphics, new media, Other related technical courses and additional courses (not compulsory) before they chose their (major) specialisation course including two related minor courses. Our training program starts with theoretical Multimedia Courses that will include history of Radio Film and Television. It has more than 13 topics and over 80 modules, from the early days when it started to the present date of Internet broadcasting. The first part of the training is for all students the same and covers the basics of RTV, film and multimedia. Some courses may be repeated because of the complexities of the subject in the The students will makes a choice in which area he or she wants to specialize. In the first year they will be learning all the basics how the whole industry works More specialized areas will begin in de second part of the study. For example Basic Graphic Designs and After Effect will be covered for students who wants to specialize into Graphics. In the final year, once a student has seen the light and finds his/her future carrier direction of specialization and interest, for 1 & 1/2 years in this final year, he/she will (Choose her/his Major) and specialize in this chosen discipline from any of the above media branches and or discipline. At the same time. the student will also (choose a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of four other Minor courses) or compulsory courses that go hand in hand or be related with his /her specialised and or major course. This is done to increase the chances of job-hunting of every student to 3 to 1 as opposes to 1 to 1 ratio. Depending on fulltime or part-time, the course will take approx. 29 to 36 months to complete. |

INDIVIDUAL ATTENDANCE, CERTIFICATER, AND DIPLOMA COURSES:Basic Certificate, Competence Certificate to a Diploma Level:We also have individual television, Film Production, mass-media, Print and related carrier certificate training courses and or programmes in several disciplines for a duration of 24, 48, 72, 96 weeks in which students attend and familiarize and or specialize in one (1) discipline from the basics attendance move on to competence level and later go higher to a diploma level When you take any of the above individual courses, it is mandatory that a student take up two or three other related courses that will make a link to their specialized course as well as to make it easier to learn and understand this particular course better. The first part of these individual courses is a basic, fundamental and theoretical understanding on how the different elements of these courses work together. At the end of this basic course you will receive a basics attendance certificate. The second course after your intern/work will get you a competence certificate and After some work and or intern experience, the last course will earn you diploma in your field of specialization.
